The New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX), 43-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 15 test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Daingerfield notched a victory over Sabine (Gladewater, TX), 69-57, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host White Oak for a 3A Region II District 15 test on Friday, January 27. Gladewater will encounter a Roughnecks squad coming off a 53-33 league win over Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 15-11.
