The Ishpeming Hematites basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Gladstone Braves to 46 in the Hematites non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hematites now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houghton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Ishpeming will meet a Gremlins team coming off a 60-41 league win over Calumet (Calumet, MI). The Gremlins record now stands at 10-3.

The Braves (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Menominee (Menominee, MI). The Maroons enter the Great Northern U.P. contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Menominee was defeated by Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 63-58, in a league contest.
