    The Glenn Grizzlies basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Hays Hawks to 40 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Grizzlies now sport a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leander for a 5A Region IV District 25 contest on Friday, January 27. Glenn will battle a Lions team coming off a 52-28 league win over Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Lions record now stands at 16-11.

    The Hawks (16-13) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Timberwolves enter the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 14-13 record. In their last contest, Cedar Park nudged Lockhart (Lockhart, TX), 50-20, in a league contest.
