Glidden-Ralston Wildcats (Glidden, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), 59-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Glidden-Ralston upgrades its record to 2-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats host West Harrison (Mondamin, IA) to play the Hawkeyes in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Hawkeyes come into the bout with a record of 13-1. West Harrison won 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against CAM (Anita, IA)

Next up, the Rockets play the Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Paton-Churdan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 78-44 non-league win over Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA).
