The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Alcoa won 79-76 in their recent non-league challenge against Sevier County (Sevierville, TN)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Grainger will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Fighting Cocks come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 63-49 league win over Cherokee (Rogersville, TN).
