Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) and the visiting Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE), saw Scotus's basketball squad knock off Grand Island Central Catholic by a tally of 58-41.

With the victory, Scotus improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE) to play the Bluehawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bluehawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. St. Cecilia won 44-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Aquinas (David City, NE)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Grand Island Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record.
