In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Grundy Center Spartans basketball team scored a tight 68-66 triumph over the Wapsie Valley Warriors.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West match, on Friday, January 27. Grundy Center will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-15 record after their 46-37 non-league loss to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA).
