The Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Hebron Christian Academy Lions (Dacula, GA), 51-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Lions go into the AAA Region 8 test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Franklin County was tipped by Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 90-69, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Oconee County for a AAA Region 8 test on Friday, January 27. Hebron Christian Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 60-45 league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-7.
