The Holmes County Central Jaguars basketball team (Lexington, MS), was toppled 49-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS)
The Rockets now possess a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buckhorn for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Neshoba Central will confront a Bucks team coming off a 63-31 non-league win over East Limestone (Athens, AL). The Bucks record now stands at 17-7.
The Jaguars (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans come into the 5A Region 3 battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Ridgeland was toppled by Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS), 63-57, in a league battle.
