Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ), 70-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Phillipsburg upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Stateliners host Montgomery (Skillman, NJ) to clash with the Cougars in a Skyland - Raritan bout on Thursday, January 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Montgomery lost 71-63 in their recent league bout against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Immaculata will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 54-51 league win over Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ).
