Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac Falls thwarts Independence

January 24, 2023: Ashburn, VA

The Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA) basketball knocked off the host Independence (Ashburn, VA), 54-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Potomac test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Stone Bridge went down by Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA), 48-46, in a league test.

The now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Woodgrove for a Potomac test on Wednesday, January 25. Independence will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 58-43 league loss to Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-10.
