Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN) and the visiting Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN), saw Jackson County's basketball squad wallop Monterey by a count of 57-35.

With the victory, Jackson County upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN) to play the Warriors in a 2A District 5 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Bledsoe County lost 80-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Grundy County (Coalmont, TN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Midway Green Wave (Kingston, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Monterey will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record.
