Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 49-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Talladega County Central upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Fighting Tigers travel to Comer (Sylacauga, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Eagles play the Holy Family Catholic Tornadoes (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Jefferson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 68-52 league win over Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL).
