The Johns Creek Gladiators basketball team (Johns Creek, GA), was overwhelmed 60-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA)
The Greyhounds now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lassiter for a AAAAAA Region 7 battle on Friday, January 27. Pope will confront a Trojans team coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-13.
The Gladiators (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets come into the AAAAAA Region 7 battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Roswell was overwhelmed by Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA), 61-59, in a league battle.
