The Lacassine Cardinals held off the host JS Clark Leadership Academy Bulldogs basketball team by a score of 73-68 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Cardinals now sport a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Episcopal of Acadiana for a B District 6 contest on Friday, January 27. Lacassine will battle a Falcons team coming off a 60-37 league win over Midland (Midland, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 13-11.

The Bulldogs (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hathaway (Jennings, LA). The Hornets come into the B District 6 contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Hathaway was nudged by Bell City (Bell City, LA), 75-55, in a league contest.
