California High School Basketball - St. Ignatius can't hold off Serra

The Serra Padres basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host St. Ignatius Wildcats to 57 in the Padres league victory on Tuesday.
The Padres now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a West Catholic contest on Thursday, January 26. Serra will battle a Fightin' Irish team coming off a 69-58 league loss to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 9-7.
The Wildcats (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders come into the West Catholic contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Riordan edged Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 69-58, in a league contest.
