With the win, Killeen upgrades its record to 7-19 on the season. The Kangaroos host Shoemaker (Killeen, TX) to clash with the Wolves in a 5A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, January 27. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 10-18. Shoemaker won 48-44 in their recent league bout against Chaparral (Killeen, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, January 27. Waco will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 15-12 record after their 58-49 league loss to University (Waco, TX).
