With the win, KIPP Collegiate upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The phoenix host Mitchell (Memphis, TN) to play the Tigers in a 2A District 15 bout on Friday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Mitchell lost 70-57 in their recent non-league bout against Memphis Home Education Association (Memphis, TN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles (Memphis, TN) in a 2A District 15 bout, on Friday, January 27. Manassas will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 63-57 league win over Crosstown (Memphis, TN).
