The Putnam County Midgets basketball team (Unionville, MO), was nudged 67-60 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Knox County Eagles (Edina, MO)

The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schuyler County for a Lewis & Clark battle on Friday, January 27. Knox County will battle a Rams team coming off a 57-32 league win over Scotland County (Memphis, MO). The Rams record now stands at 10-2.

The Midgets (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Green City (Green City, MO). The Gophers come into the non-league battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Green City edged Brashear (Brashear, MO), 80-46, in a league battle.
