The Richland Royals basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Lake Dallas Falcons to 48 in the Royals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colleyville Heritage for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 27. Richland will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-53 league win over Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 18-7.

The Falcons (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Grapevine (Grapevine, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, Grapevine ran past Ryan (Denton, TX), 74-47, in a league contest.
