In Tuesday's league outing, the Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH) basketball squad edged the host Middletown Middies (Middletown, OH), by a count of 56-49.

The Thunderhawks (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fairfield (Fairfield, OH). The Indians go into the Greater Miami outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Fairfield held off Lakota West (West Chester, OH), 59-54, in a league outing.

The Middies now hold a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton for a Greater Miami outing on Friday, January 27. Middletown will clash with a Big Blue squad coming off a 50-38 league loss to Colerain (Cincinnati, OH). The Big Blue record now stands at 7-9.
