West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 65-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Valley upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Anderson (Anderson, CA) to play the Cubs in a Northern bout on Friday, January 27. The Cubs come into the bout with a record of 12-9. Anderson lost 53-22 in their recent league bout against University Prep (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) in a Northern bout, on Friday, January 27. Lassen will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Miners come into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 62-25 league win over Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA).
