Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL), 40-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Loretto upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Summertown (Summertown, TN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-12. Summertown won 51-48 in their recent league bout against Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Lauderdale County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
