The Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ) basketball nipped the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, NJ), 51-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cardinals (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, Monroe Township was tipped by Cobble Hill (Brooklyn, NY), 65-54, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South for a Colonial Valley test on Friday, January 27. Princeton will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 61-56 non-league loss to Princeton Day (Princeton, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 9-8.
