The Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators basketball team (Hollywood, SC), dropped 35-24 in Tuesday's league battle with the host St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC)
The Islanders now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Military Magnet Academy for a A Region 8 battle on Friday, January 27. St. John's will confront a Eagles team coming off a 48-47 league loss to Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-14.
The NaviGators (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Burke (Charleston, SC). The Bulldogs come into the A Region 8 battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Burke beat Cross (Cross, SC), 62-38, in a league battle.
