The Lower Moreland Lions basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Upper Moreland Bears to 39 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cheltenham for a Suburban One - American contest on Friday, January 27. Lower Moreland will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-39 league win over New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.
The Bears (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against William Tennent (Warminster, PA). The Panthers come into the Suburban One - American contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, William Tennent prevailed over Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA), 81-64, in a league contest.
