With the victory, River upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Pilots travel to Malvern (Malvern, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 13-1.

Next up, the Blue Eagles play the Tyler Knights (Sistersville, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Magnolia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 67-56 non-league win over Cameron (Cameron, WV).
