The Zion Christian Mountaineers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Martin Clippers to 31 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Christian for a Alliance contest on Friday, January 27. Zion Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Clippers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Black River (Holland, MI). The Rats enter the Southwestern - Central contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Black River was routed by Lawton (Lawton, MI), 74-47, in a non-league contest.
