The Mayer Lutheran Crusaders basketball team (Mayer, MN), dropped 44-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN)
The Wolverines now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Sibley East will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 70-65 league win over Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-6.
The Crusaders (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Norwood-Young America, MN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Central ran past Litchfield (Litchfield, MN), 81-54, in a non-league contest.
