Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mechanicsburg Indians (Mechanicsburg, OH), 60-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Triad upgrades its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Northeastern (Springfield, OH) to play the Jets in a Ohio Heritage bout on Friday, January 27. The Jets come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Northeastern won 53-46 in their recent league bout against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH) in a Ohio Heritage bout, on Friday, January 27. Mechanicsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 51-39 league win over West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH).
