The Saluda Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Mid-Carolina Rebels to 41 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abbeville for a AA Region 2 contest on Friday, January 27. Saluda will battle a Panthers team coming off a 94-67 league win over Newberry (Newberry, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-3.

The Rebels (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Griffins enter the non-league contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Fairfield Central was routed by Great Falls (Great Falls, SC), 67-34, in a non-league contest.
