With the victory, Midview upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Middies host Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to play the Shoremen in a Southwestern bout on Friday, January 27. The Shoremen come into the bout with a record of 13-2. Avon Lake won 60-57 in their recent league bout against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)

Next up, the Comets play the Berea-Midpark Titans (Berea, OH) in a Southwestern bout, on Friday, January 27. Steele will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 60-57 league loss to Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH).
