Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), 50-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Miller Grove upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Red Devils in a AAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 27. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Druid Hills won 73-30 in their recent league bout against Clarkston (Clarkston, GA)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 27. Stone Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 56-46 league win over Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA).
