New York High School Basketball - Niagara Falls thwarts North Tonawanda

The Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY) basketball knocked off the host North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY), 51-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolverines (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier test with a 3-10 record.
The Lumberjacks now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Depew for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. North Tonawanda will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-37 league win over Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.
