North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX), 81-39 in a league bout.

With the win, North Mesquite upgrades its record to 15-12 on the season. The Stallions travel to Conrad (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a 5A Region II District 12 bout on Friday, January 27. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-17.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, January 27. Samuell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Wranglers go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 54-52 league win over Seagoville (Dallas, TX).
