Northwest Knights (Cincinnati, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ross Rams (Hamilton, OH), 54-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Harrison (Harrison, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Southwest Ohio bout on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Harrison won 55-42 in their recent non-league bout against East Central (St. Leon, IN)

Next up, the Rams play the Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH) in a Southwest Ohio bout, on Friday, January 27. Ross will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 52-49 league win over Talawanda (Oxford, OH).
