New Jersey High School Basketball - Shabazz can't hold off Nutley

The Nutley Maroon Raiders basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Shabazz Bulldogs to 54 in the Maroon Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Maroon Raiders now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Star Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Nutley will battle a team coming off a 42-35 league win over University (Newark, NJ). The record now stands at 7-9.
The Bulldogs (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Livingston was nudged by Payne Tech (Newark, NJ), 43-40, in a non-league contest.
