North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Guilford nips Page

Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC), 58-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southwest Guilford upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Hornets in a 4A Conference 55 bout on Friday, January 27. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Western Guilford lost 64-52 in their recent league bout against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Pirates play the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) in a 4A Conference 55 bout, on Friday, January 27. Page will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 53-51 league win over Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
