In Tuesday's league outing, the Vilonia Eagles (Vilonia, AR) basketball squad edged the visiting Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR), by a margin of 58-55.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Hornets go into the 5A Central outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Maumelle was tipped by Catholic (Little Rock, AR), 52-48, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Sylvan Hills for a 5A Central outing on Friday, January 27. Parkview will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 52-39 league win over ESTEM (Little Rock, AR). The Bears record now stands at 9-5.
