The Whitesboro Bearcats basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Pilot Point Bearcats to 49 in the Bearcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, January 27. Whitesboro will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 46-21 league loss to Ponder (Ponder, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 16-9.
The Bearcats (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Rams enter the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 2-20 record. In their last contest, S & S Consolidated was outscored by Paradise (Paradise, TX), 90-46, in a league contest.
