Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 52-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Santa Fe Prep upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Blue Griffins host Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Cottonwood Classical Prep lost 64-52 in their recent league bout against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Raton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 66-52 league win over Cimarron (Cimarron, NM).
