California High School Basketball - Santana topped by Steele Canyon

The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Santana Sultans to 57 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Hills for a Grossmont - Valley contest on Friday, January 27. Steele Canyon will battle a Wolf Pack team coming off a 64-36 league win over Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 20-2.
The Sultans (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros come into the Grossmont - Valley contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, El Capitan prevailed over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA), 69-49, in a league contest.
