The Seymour Thunder basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Xavier Hawks to 54 in the Thunder league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunder now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host New London for a Bay contest on Friday, January 27. Seymour will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-31 league win over Green Bay West (Green Bay, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-4.

The Hawks (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Menasha (Menasha, WI). The Bluejays enter the Bay contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Menasha was nudged by Shawano Community (Shawano, WI), 61-46, in a league contest.
