With the victory, Sharyland upgrades its record to 8-17 on the campaign. The Rattlers host Rowe (McAllen, TX) to play the Warriors in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 14-14. Rowe lost 71-46 in their recent league challenge against Vela (Edinburg, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 6-20 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 22-5 record after their 67-50 league win over Pioneer (Mission, TX).
