The Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA), 59-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Rams (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Hoover was tipped by Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA), 64-50, in a non-league test.

The J-Hawks now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Waukee for a Central Iowa Metro - East test on Friday, January 27. Urbandale will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 72-58 league win over Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-2.
