St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT), 82-65 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Bernard upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Saints host St. John's Prep (Astoria, NY) to play the Red Storm in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Red Storm come into the bout with a record of 3-11.

Next up, the Whippets play the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut II bout, on Friday, January 27. Windham will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
