Massachusetts High School Basketball - Sturgis West knocked off by St. John Paul II

The St. John Paul II Lions basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Sturgis West Navigators to 34 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sturgis East for a Cape & Islands - Lighthouse contest on Friday, January 27.
The Navigators (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Avon (Avon, MA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Avon was defeated by Bishop Connolly (Fall River, MA), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
