St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA), 57-53 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Monica Academy upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Crusaders host Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA) to clash with the Knights in a Heritage bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Trinity Classical Academy won 53-39 in their recent league bout against Vasquez (Acton, CA)

Next up, the Griffins clash with the Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA) in a Heritage bout, on Thursday, January 26. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 86-29 league loss to Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA).
