Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI), 58-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Whiteford upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Erie-Mason (Erie, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Tri-County bout on Friday, January 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Erie-Mason lost 50-42 in their recent non-league bout against Richard (Riverview, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Britton Deerfield Patriots (Britton, MI) in a Lenawee County bout, on Friday, January 27. Summerfield will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 53-43 league win over Madison (Adrian, MI).
