The Tuscaloosa County Wildcats basketball team (Northport, AL), was toppled 55-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL)
The Warriors now possess a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vestavia Hills for a 7A Area 5 battle on Friday, January 27. Thompson will confront a Rebels team coming off a 56-48 league win over Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 20-4.
The Wildcats (20-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers come into the 7A Area 5 battle with a 23-3 record. In their last battle, Hoover was toppled by Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL), 56-48, in a league battle.
